Old-style flavor produced the old-world way
For a coffee to be certified as a true “Jamaica Blue Mountain” coffee, it must be grown in the Blue Mountain region, at a certain altitude, in accordance with highly stringent requirements. As a result, only a few estates in the small district still produce the quality and fine aromatic flavor that made this place so famous. Our source is one of these—an old-world mountain treasure that prides itself on both its origin and methods.
The unique regional conditions—rich soil, unexpected tropical altitude, and cool mists—together with meticulous processing, are what make our Jamaica Blue Mountain so exceptional. The Sharp family who grow this coffee control the whole process. They ally careful milling, drying, and hand-sorting under exacting quality conditions. Which means every bean is treated as a prize from the moment it is picked to the moment it is packed in wooden barrels and air-shipped to us here in California.
